PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Zach Martin scored four goals Friday to lead the Chicopee Comp boys lacrosse team to a 12-7 win over Taconic.

 

Sal Amaral scored five goals to lead Taconic, which got a goal apiece from Kyle Crocker and Billy Ellis.

 

Chicopee Comp pulled away in the third quarter after going to half-time down, 6-5. The visitors outscored Taconic, 5-1, in the third to open a three-goal lead and shut out their hosts in the fourth quarter.

 

Justin Thompson made 15 saves in the Taconic goal.

 

Taconic (1-3) hosts St. Mary’s of Westfield on Monday.
