CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Nick Waterman scored eight goals Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys lacrosse team to a 19-5 win over Taconic.

 

Matt Hall had a hat trick and four assists, and Casey Meczywor scored four goals with two assists for the Hurricanes (7-3).

 

Cam Alibozek and Brady Larkin combined to make 11 saves in the win.

 

Sal Amaral scored four goals, and Sean Soper had two assists for Taconic, which got a goal from Tim Carroll and 13 saves from Justin Thompson.

 

Taconic (2-8) hosts Belchertown on Saturday morning.

 

Hoosac Valley is scheduled to host Lee on Saturday afternoon.
