CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Clare Sheedy scored six goals, and Lauren Curry scored five to lead the Pittsfield High girls lacrosse team to a 14-13 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday.

 

“It was a back and forth game the entire game,” Hoosac coach Molly Meczywor said. “Both teams played well and fought hard. This was our third game with them, and each time the score was 14-13.”

 

Ashley Rufo scored a pair of goals, and Kate Borelli stopped four shots to earn the win.

 

For Hoosac, Claudia Bresett and Alie Mendel each scored five, and Abi Disbrow made seven saves.

 

Hoosac Valley finishes the season 6-8. Pittsfield is 4-12 with four wins in its last six games.
