WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Sarah Stripp scored 10 goals, and Autumn Delorey made 10 saves Thursday to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 21-6 win over Notre Dame-Worcester in the first round of the Central/Western Massachusetts Division 2 tournament.
Emma Polumbo had a hat trick, and Clare Sheedy and Caroline Flynn scored two goals apiece for the sixth-seeded Mounties (12-6), who took a 10-goal lead into half-time and never looked back.
Mount Greylock travels to face third-seeded Littleton (13-6) in the quarter-finals on Sunday at a time to be announced.
