A wild win on a wild, windy day in Brattleboro.  We took the lead earlly in the second inning when Jenna Gavazzi singled, stold second base, was sacrificed to 3rd by  Cat Marceau and then scored on a passed ball.

They came back with 2 runs in the 3rd.

We scored again in the 4th - Ingrid Olsen reached on an error.  After 2 strike outs Emily Moulton was hit by a pitch, Madi Tarsa had a long double to the fence to score Ingrid, a walk and then Ali Brassard had a single to right to score two more.

We let them back in the ball game in the bottom of the 7th.  After a strike out there was an error, popup to first base, then Maddy  Derosia had a triple scoring 1 run, Jess Ogden followed with a base hit scoring Derosia.

11th inning - Record led off with a double, Olsen had a sacrifice fly to right moving Record to 3rd, Gavazzi walked, Marceau had a bunt bring Record in & moving Gavazzi to 3rd, Moulton bunted bringing  Gavazzi in after a strike out Rivard had a bunt single bringing in Marceau.  Brassard singled driving Moulton to 3rd who was put out trying to reach home on a passed ball.

We tried to make it interesting by giving up a single to their lead batter, a walk, two more singles driving in a run but then the next girl popped out to Moulton and the 3rd out was recorded on a fly ball to short.

Great defensive play by Jenna Gavazzi in left and Allison Cellana in center and of course Ali Brassard at 3rd.

Their leading batsman was Maddy Derosia who was 4 for 5 with 2 rbis.
