Another extra inning game for us.
Second Inning: Tanelle Ciempa gets on base with a 3 base error made by the left fielder. She scored on a sac bunt hit by Ashley Ciepiela.
4th Inning: With 2 outs - Sam Howe hits a single to right field, Tanelle Ciempa hits a single to left-center field. Ashley Ciepiela hits an RBI single to left field to score Sam Howe.
6th Inning: Katelynn Iacuessa gets on by an error made by the shortstop. She gets to second on a passball. She scores on an error made by the left fielder on a ball hit by Tori Rumbolt.
8th inning: Greylock scores only one run - but leaves the bases loaded. We get up to bat: Sam Howe gets on with a single to center field, Tanelle Ciempa hits a dribbler for an infield single, and moves Sam to 2nd. Ashely Ciepiela sac bunts to move the runners over in scoring position. Tori Rumbolt hits a sac fly to left field scoring Sam Howe. Sabrina Sommer hits a hard ground ball to the 3rd baseman who bobbles it and we score the winning run.
Amanda did a great job pitching today. She was battling to find a strikezone (the umpire was a bit inconsistant - and i never complain - but he was all over the place!) she hung tough and pitched a great game. She knows how to place the ball when pitching to get batters to make outs. She trusts her defense to make plays, and when you put it all together, you have a one of a kind player - who leads her team to victory.
