PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Caesar Santos and Christian Maturevich each scored 15 points, and the Taconic boys basketball team Friday outscored West Springfield by 27 points in the first quarter en route to an 81-32 win.

 

Kyle McGrath and Quentin Christopher each scored eight points in the first quarter, when the Thunder stormed out to a 32-5 lead.

 

Christopher finished with 14 points. McGrath scored 12. And Martin Boua was the fifth Taconic player in double figures with 10 points.

 

Taconic (6-2) plays Pittsfield on Monday night at the Boys and Girls Club.
