PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Makai Shepardson scored 20 points Monday to lead the Pittsfield boys basketball team to a 90-31 win over Westfield.

 

Nunu Brown scored 13, and Malach Perry and Patrick Brennan added 10 apiece for the Generals, who scored 31 points in the third quarter to take a 67-25 lead and put the game away.

 

“Slow start for the Generals starters, but we got it together and were able to get out to a big lead and we were able to get some other guys a lot of playing time down the stretch,” Pittsfield assistant coach Matt Capeless.

 

The Generals’ starters did not play more than a possession in the fourth quarter on a night when every Pittsfield player in uniform got in the scorebook.

 

Pittsfield (3-1) hosts Monument Mountain on Saturday.
