Junior starter Andrew Leitch was very efficient, allowing two earned runs over six innings of work, while his offense provided more than enough run support in the Mount Greylock baseball team's 12-3 home win over Hoosac Valley in the Division 2 Western Mass. quarterfinals on Sunday.

Down 4-0 entering the bottom of the sixth inning, the Hoosac Valley baseball team made a great attempt at a comeback but fell just short in a 4-3 loss to Monument Mountain in a Berkshire Classic game on Friday.

St. Joe's starter Devon Johnston had the Hoosac Valley baseball team's number on Wednesday, holding the Hurricanes to just four hits in a complete-game 8-1 road win for the Crusaders.

Senior catcher Conner Tworig hit a two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game before a balk allowed the winning run to score in the Hoosac Valley baseball's team's 4-3 win over Wahconah on Monday.

Normally his team's top reliever, senior Tanner Bird took a turn in the starting rotation on Saturday, allowing just one earned run on four hits to help the Hoosac Valley baseball team break a three-game losing streak with a 4-2 win at Mohawk.

Senior first baseman Josh Fortier played a role in every inning the Mount Greylock baseball team scored on Friday, going 4 for 4 with a home run, double and three RBIs to carry the Mounties' to an 8-3 home win over Hoosac Valley.

The offense of the Hoosac Valley baseball team struggled for the second game in a row on Thursday, collecting just five hits off of Pittsfield starter John Martin on its way to a 6-1 home loss to the Generals.

Wildcats' starter J.T. Brown was in complete control on Wednesday, firing a complete-game two-hitter to lead the Lee baseball team to a 10-0 home win over Hoosac Valley.

Senior Adam Mazzatini came up with a key three-run double in the fourth inning, helping the Hoosac Valley baseball team to a seven-run frame and lifting the Hurricanes to a 7-3 road win over rival Drury on Saturday morning,

A battle between the two best teams in the South Division went a little longer than expected on Monday night, lasting nine intense and exciting innings before the Hoosac Valley baseball team walked off with a 4-3 win over Mount Greylock at Renfrew Park.

Starter Nick Greenleaf kept the Monument Mountain baseball team undefeated on Monday, allowing just three hits in a complete-game 5-0 shutout of Hoosac Valley.

Four days ago, the Hoosac Valley baseball team beat Taconic 4-3. The Braves returned the favor on Friday, however, using a four-run third inning to pull away for a 9-3 win at home.

An already promising season got even better for the Hoosac Valley baseball team on Wednesday, as senior starter Mike Koperniak struck out 13 batters on his way to pitching a no-hitter in a 14-0 road win over Lenox.

Sophomore Justin Nichols didn't let his nerves get the better of him in his first varsity start on Monday, allowing two earned runs and zero walks in five innings of work to propel the Hoosac Valley baseball team to a 4-3 win over Taconic.

Down 6-5 entering the bottom of the seventh inning, the Hoosac Valley baseball team got back-to-back, two-out doubles by seniors Zach Brassard and Connor Tworig to walk off with a 7-6 win over visiting Mount Everett on Friday.
