Can you name the location?
Pittsfield Commons 1st Street

Comments...
The commons were flooded and kept clear for skating in the winter by the Pittsfield Parks Department. The big building in the background was old Central High School which was built in 1898 and put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. This building was rumored to be almost condemned. It served as the first building for Berkshire Community College starting in 1960 and stayed there until 1972 when it moved to its present location on West Street. kh
