With poor conditions on a wet, rainy afternoon Monument battled Lenox for a 2-0 shutout.  The Spartans put a lot of pressure on Lenox in the first 20 minutes of the game, getting several good looks on net.  Emil Ghitman-Gilkes took a feed from Lucas Wartella and hit a beautifully placed ball from 25 yards into the upper 90.  Lenox responded well and continued to develop an attack in the second part of the half.  The teams battled back and forth throughout the second half until Chris Peretti was able to break free and get around the Lenox keeper to make it 2-0.
