We started out really well working the ball and controlling the play.  Scored 2 goals in less than 5 minutes, then Putnam tightened up the defense and played well.  Putnam scored 12 minutes in and made it a defensive battle for both teams the rest of the game.  At the end of the first half Jon Leal rolled his ankle and had to leave the game, which worried our players.  The beginning of the second half Chris Gajda hurt his knee while making a save and he had to leave the game.  Evan Canales took over in net and finished the game strong with the help of the McCann defense.  Conner Little even helped preserve the win with a saving defensive play at the end of the game.  Tough game against a strong team.
