Mohawk was low on players do to injuries and illnesses, They started the game will 11 and where shortly down to 10 and the second down to 9.  The Mohawk coach had a game plan to try to get a 0-0 tie by packing in his players on defense. It worked most of the game and Mohawk played tough.  McCann kept battling and put 22 shots on net and hit the post on 4 other shots. Mohawks goalie made several great saves. In the 68th minute McCann was finally able to break through the defensive wall and Ryan Charon headed the ball in from a corner kick from David Rancourt. The one save that Devon Griswold made for McCann was key to the win, he just got his fingers on a direct kick just outside the 18 to deflect it over the net.
