SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Putnam boys soccer team jumped out to a quick lead with a goal in the first minute and went on to a 3-0 win over McCann Tech on Tuesday.

 

Nico Moreno made six saves for the Hornets, who were denied eight times by Putnam keeper Luis Soto.

 

McCann Tech (3-4-2) hosts Pathfinder on Friday. The Hornets will try to avenge a 1-0 loss at Pathfinder earlier this season.
