CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Steven Crouch scored two goals Saturday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys soccer team to a 4-0 win over St. Joseph in the Hurricanes’ season finale.
Hoosac (5-8-1) scored all four goals in the first half. Collin Rousseau and Jake Halverson had the other two scores; Keagan McGrath and Paolo Kareh each had an assist.
“I thought we played very well in the first half,” Hoosac coach Mike Russo said. “We controlled the rhythm of the game and created numerous opportunities.”
Jaydin Cooper needed to make just one save to earn the shutout win.
Jack Perenick stopped eight shots for St. Joe.
