SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Bedford's Nyra Perez scored off a corner kick in the 47th minute Saturday to give her team a 1-0 win over Mount Everett.

 

"Bedford possessed most of the game, but we had our chances just couldn't seem to find the back of the net," Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. "Bedford was well-coached and I'm proud of the effort we have been putting forth. Not quite where we want to be but every day these kids are getting better and our overall effort continues to improve."

 

Emma Goewey stopped 13 shots in the loss.

 

Mount Everett (0-3-1) goes to Taconic on Thursday.
