Pittsfield Lady Generals Stay Unbeaten

AUBURN, Mass. — The Pittsfield Lady Generals had to travel to the defending Division II State Champions on Saturday afternoon, and they knew their undefeated record would be challenged.
Auburn gave them all they could handle but the Generals stayed tough even after being behind 1-0 at half. Auburn's Erin Scanion scored on a assist from Lesedi Graveline to give Auburn the halftime lead.
Pittsfield (8-0-2) battled back, and in the 69th minute senior Sydney Deluce landed the equalizer, assisted by junior Meghan Driscoll. Freshman goalkeeper Allie Hunt had five saves in the 1-1 tie.
Pittsfield will play at Taconic on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m.
