LENOX, Mass. -- The Monument Mountain girls soccer team defeated Lenox Tuesday afternoon, 7-3, at Lenox High School.

 

Monument's Erica Broderick led her team with three goals, followed by Allison Kinne with two. Aubrey Blanchard and Hunter Hassett each had one.

 

At half, the Spartans led 4-1. Monument came out in the second to add three more and Lenox added two on their end.

 

Nicole Gamerboni, Jaclynn Hathaway, and Alessandra Arace each scored for Lenox.

 

Shannon Meirberger had 15 saves in net for Lenox. Emily Shaw had three for Monument Mountain.

 

Monument, now 1-0, hosts Drury next Wednesday. Lenox travels to Southwick Friday afternoon.
