LENOX, Mass. -- The Lenox girls soccer team defeated Taconic Thursday afternoon, 6-0.

 

The Millionaires were led by Alessandra Arace and Shelby Lynch, who each scored two goals.

 

Arace and Lynch netted both in the first half along with one from Elise Almgren to give them a 5-0 lead at halftime.

 

Lenox scored its sixth goal in the 48th minute from Abby Schilling to secure the win.

 

Taconic goalie Ashleh Rufo had 13 saves; Shannon Meisberger had three for Lenox along with Taylor Knight.

 

Lenox (11-4-2) hosts Hoosac Valley on Friday.

 

Taconic (2-13-1) hosts Mount Greylock on Friday.
