PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Allie Hunt stopped seven shots to earn her 34th career varsity shutout as the Pittsfield girls soccer team defeated Wahconah, 1-0, on Monday at Berkshire Community College.
The Generals (4-0-1) benefited from an own goal in the first half to take the lead and hung on from there with Hunt backstopping a defense that has allowed just one goal this season.
Pittsfield will put a four-game winning streak on the line at Monument Mountain on Wednesday.
Wahconah (5-3) hosts Monson on Wednesday.
