ADAMS, Mass. -- Emmy Cote converted a penalty kick in the 64th minute to complete a four-goal run that brought the Wahconah girls soccer team from behind for a 4-3 win over Hoosac Valley on Monday at Renfrew Park.
Wahconah (6-4) fell behind, 3-0, when Hoosac Valley’s Olivia Bresett converted a Hurricanes’ penalty kick in the 51st minute.
Wahconah came storming back with four goals in 11 minutes to take the lead.
First, Cote set up Arden McKnight to get the visitors on the board. Then Amelia Daughterty scored a pair of goals two minutes apart -- both on McKnight assists.
Then with 16 minutes left, Cote scored the game-winner, and Wahconah held on for its third straight victory.
Sage Howes made two stops to earn the win.
Ellie Field socred a pair of goals, and Kailynne Frederick made seven stops for Hoosac (5-3-1), which goes to Lee on Tuesday.
Wahconah goes to Monument Mountain on Thursday.
