GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Graham Herrick’s two-run home run to right in the bottom of the fourth helped the Monument Mountain baseball team Friday earn a 6-3 win over Lenox.
Kade Grober and Kyle Gochey each went 2-for-3 for the Spartans.
Dylan Tinker went the distance on the mound to earn the win. He struck out nine, walked none and allowed just one earned run.
Jett Steinman, Dan Munch and Trevor Sweenor each doubled for the Millionaires. Steinman also went 5-1/3 innings on the mound in relief, allowing just two runs on the Herrick homer.
Lenox (5-9) hosts Taconic on Monday.
Monument Mountain (12-2) goes to Lee on Monday.
