EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. -- Anton Lazits homered, and Bo Bramer went 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Taconic baseball team to an 8-3 win over East Longmeadow on Friday.

 

Christian Womble drove in a pair of runs with a double and pitched two innings of one-hit relief to pick up the save on the mound. Womble struck out six in the process.

 

Brendan Stannard earned the win with 1-⅔ innings of work out of the bullpen in relief of starter Stevie Zuccalo.

 

Taconic (2-0) goes to Monument Mountain on Monday.
