DALTON, Mass. -- Billy O’Neill had a nine-point day to lead the Wahconah boys lacrosse team to a 23-3 win over Springfield Central on Saturday.

 

With its ninth win of the season and eight games remaining, Wahconah (9-1) qualified for the Central/Western Massachusetts sectional tournament with the win.

 

O’Neill scored five goals and assisted on four more -- both game-highs.

 

Dart Jaggi scored four times, and Jonah Smith had three goals and two assists.

 

Thirteen different players scored at least a goal in the win.

 

Wahconah hosts Pittsfield on Monday.
