DALTON, Mass. -- Lily Howes scored three goals and set up another to lead the Wahconah High girls lacrosse team to a 13-2 win over Lee on Thursday.

 

“Tonight was our senior night and the senior girls played a great game,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “All seven of them played their hearts out.  As their coach I am so happy to see how far they have come and the effort and composure they showed was truly admirable.”

 

Hannah Rueger, Perin Genaway and Emmy Cote each scored a pair for Wahconah (13-3), which got nine saves from Katie Bachli.

 

Emma Bartini scored both goals for Lee (5-7), who hosts Chicopee on Monday.

 

Wahconah goes to Hoosac Valley on Saturday morning.
