DALTON, Mass. -- Emmy Cote scored three goals and Katie Bachli made eight saves, but the Wahconah High girls lacrosse team fell to Mount Anthony Union, 7-6, on Monday.

“Today we struggled at the beginning of the second half with turnovers that are uncharacteristic of the girls,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “We gave up five straight goals off of those and that sunk us. We worked hard after that but could not close the gap. At the end we had chances to tie it, but came up short.”

Wahconah (9-3) hosts Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.
