WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Danielle Trudeau scored three goals Monday to lead the West Springfield girls lacrosse team to an 11-7 win over Wahconah.

 

“We just could not make things click tonight,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “The effort was there, but the execution was not. They played great defense which we had a hard time getting past.”

 

Emmy Cote scored four goals, and Jordan Budaj had a goal and two assists for Wahconah, which got six saves from Katie Bachli.

 

Wahconah (12-4) hosts Granby on Wednesday before wrapping up the regular season against Vermont’s Mount Anthony Union on Thursday.
