DALTON, Mass. -- Jordan Budaj scored four goals and set up three more Wednesday to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 15-7 win over Granby.

 

Emmy Cote scored four, and Olivia Hines had a hat trick for Wahconah, which outscored the Rams, 6-0, in the second half.

 

“It was a nice win for the seniors on senior night,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “The girls rallied in the second half to pull out the win. There were seven different players who scored and/or assisted. The defense played stellar in the second half. It was a nice tune up going into tournament.”

 

Katie Bachli made 10 saves for Wahconah (13-4), which hosts Mount Anthony Union on Thursday.
