 PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Isabella MacDonald went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs Saturday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to an 8-2 win over Hoosac Valley.
Natalie Arnhold also doubled twice, and Ella Bassi tripled and drove in a run in a 10-hit attack for Pittsfield.
Neveah Lopez went 4-for-4 at the plate, drove in two runs and scored twice.
Mia Arpante benefited from all that run support to earn the win in the circle. She struck out six, walked two and allowed just one earned run.
Hoosac Valley’s Genevieve Lagess singled and drove in a run, and Gracelyn Wright went 1-for-3 and scored both Hurricane runs.
Wright went the distance in the circle for Hoosac Valley, allowing just two earned runs.
The Hurricanes (11-4) go to Drury on Monday.
Pittsfield (13-3) travels to Hampshire Regional on Tuesday.
