Lenox Pounds Amherst in Regular Season Finale

LENOX, Mass. – Lenox’s Amaya Alger went 4-for-4 with a triple on Saturday morning in a 14-2 win over Amherst-Pelham.
 
The Millionaires’ cleanup hitter drove in a pair of runs and scored four times in a 17-hit attack for Lenox, which ended the game after six innings.
 
Amber Arseneau was 3-for-3 with a double, and Evelyn Julieano was 3-for-5 with a triple. Grace Julieano doubled, tripled and drove in a run.
 
Cassidy Flynn got the win in the circle, striking out 11, walking one and scattering nine hits in six innings of work.
 
Lenox (10-9) learns Wednesday who it will face in the first round of the MIAA Division 5 State Tournament.
