AMHERST, Mass. -- Lexi Carpenter went 3-for-5 with a triple and a double on Monday to lead the Monument Mountain softball team to a 16-5 win over Amherst-Pelham.
Olivia Simms was 3-for-5 with a double and four RBIs, and Gianna Beacco had three hits in a 16-hit attack for the Spartans.
Andrea Paul earned the win in the circle, striking out five in six innings of work.
Lily Khalsa provided one inning of relief.
Monument Mountain (5-1) goes to Gateway on Wednesday.
