PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Lindsey LeBlanc struck out 10 and scattered five hits to lead the Athol softball team to a 3-0 win over Taconic on Wednesday.

 

The visitors broke open a scoreless game with three in the top of the sixth inning, scoring two unearned runs off Mary Lee.

 

Lee combined with Kiki Carrigan to strike out seven for Taconic.

 

Taylar Ostrander, Jenyka Ostellino, Ellie Christopher, Taea Bramer and Addison Lyon each had a single in the loss.

 

Taconic (6-5) hosts Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
