DALTON, Mass. -- The Pittsfield softball team defeated Wahconah Thursday afternoon, 15-3.

 

Pittsfield pitcher Emily Koldys pitched four innings for the Generals, striking out five. Julia Murphy took over the mound in the fifth inning, striking out one.

 

Wahconah pitcher Borowsky had five strikeouts in her five innings pitched.

 

Ashley Zink, Jamie Downer and Emily Jordan each had one run for Wahconah.

 

Haley Tobin  went 4-for-4 and scored three runs for for Pittsfield.

 

Murphy, Alex Desrochers, Allie Hunt, and Erin Murphy each scored two. Koldys, Libby White, Bella Aitken, and Emma Lacey each had one.

 

Pittsfield (4-0) hosts East Longmeadow on Friday. Wahconah (2-2) hosts Pioneer Valley on Saturday.
