CHESHIRE, Mass. – Trevor Moynihan and Adan Wicks each scored 21 points to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a dramatic 63-58 win over Belchertown on Friday night.

 

The Orioles went up, 58-57, with 59 seconds left on a reverse layup by Brice Letendre (21 points).

 

Nineteen seconds later, Moynihan hit a 3-pointer to give the Hurricanes a two-point lead.

 

“Good defense and rebounding in the final possessions allowed Moynihan and Wicks to hit four free throws to seal the win,” Hoosac Valley coach Bill Robinson said.

 

Qwanell Bradley scored nine points, and William Hakes added six in the victory.

 

Hoosac Valley (7-9) is at Drury on Tuesday.
