WILBRAHAM, Mass. – Miles Fergus scored 17 points Monday to lead the Minnechaug boys basketball team to a 58-37 win over Pittsfield.

 

Kyle Cardoso scored 14 points, and Camden Zerbato added nine for the Generals, who took their first loss of the season to slip to 3-1 this winter.

 

“It was a tough game,” Pittsfield coach Jerome Edgerton said. “The turnovers and defensive breakdowns cost us in a big way. Our offense never found a rhythm, and we need to get back to basics of who we are  in order to correct it.”

 

Pittsfield hosts Springfield Commerce on Friday.
