WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freddy Conyers scored 26 points Tuesday to lead the Pittsfield boys basketball team to a 79-62 win over West Springfield.

 

Kyle Cordoso scored nine, and three Generals – Prosper Ezan, Camden Zerbato and Camryn Mochon – added eight points apiece in the team’s third straight win.

 

“It was a balanced attack, seeing 11 different Generals score,” Pittsfield coach Jerome Edgerton said. “West Springfield did make a push, but the defense was able to clamp down on the second half and put the game away. It was nice to see some other boys step up, and the development of the team is taking shape at the right time of the season.”

 

Pittsfield (11-6) finishes the regular season on Thursday at Springfield International Charter School.
