NORTHFIELD, Mass. – Alex McClelland scored 21 points Monday to lead the Pioneer Valley boys basketball team to a 79-34 win over Lenox.

 

Chris Lyon scored seven points to lead the Millionaires.

 

“We got outmatched today,” Lenox coach Bailey Patella said. “They jumped on us from the start, and we had a hard time scoring the ball. Have to come ready to play when you’re playing the No. 1 team in the state.”

 

Lenox (3-9) will look to bounce back on Tuesday when it hosts Hopkins Academy in a game played as part of the Coaches Vs. Cancer initiative.
