HATFIELD, Mass. – Joe Abderhalden scored 13 points Thursday to lead the Lee boys basketball team to a 40-34 win over Smith Academy.

 

Abderhalden scored seven points in the second quarter, when the Wildcats outscored Smith, 13-4, to take a 24-10 lead into half-time.

 

Jacob Cooper scored 10 points, and Ben Kelly added nine in the win.

 

Lee (2-0) goes to Athol on Monday.
