EASTHAMPTON, Mass. – Dom Calautti had a double-double Thursday to lead the Monument Mountain boys basketball team to a 71-33 win at Easthampton.

 

Calautti scored 10 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Spartans, who took a 30-3 lead in the first quarter and led, 46-11, at half-time.

 

Four different players finished in double figures for Monument Mountain, which improved to 3-0 this winter.

 

“We did a great job of sharing the ball, and we have a lot of offensive weapons,” Monument Mountain coach Randy Koldys said. “And we are getting better defensively, too.”

 

Manny Brown scored 14 and Isaiah Keefner and Griffin McElroy had 11 apiece in the win.

 

The Spartans go to South Hadley on Monday.
