SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Carter Clifton Saturday scored 30 points to lead Pilgrim (R.I.) to a 74-62 win over Hoosac Valley at the Hoophall Invitational.

 

The Patriots, from Warwick, R.I., blew the game open late with a 25-point fourth quarter that saw Clfiton hit four 3-pointers and outscore the Hurricanes by himself in the period.

 

Trevor Moynihan led Hoosac Valley with 27 points.

 

Qwanell Bradley scored 16, and Adan Wicks added 12 in the loss.

 

Hoosac Valley (5-6) hosts Easthampton on Tuesday.
