SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Preston Ocker scored 25 points, and Maine-Endwell (N.Y.) outscored Taconic, 21-15 in the fourth quarter to earn a 62-60 win in a bracket final in the Hoophall Invitational on Saturday.

 

Luka Ioannisci scored 11 of his 20 points in that fourth-quarter comeback for the Spartans, who hail from the Binghamton suburbs.

 

Kyle McGrath scored 23 points to lead three players in double figures for the Thunder, which saw a seven-game winning streak snapped.

 

Ceasar Santos scored 15, and Martin Boua added 14 in the loss.

 

Taconic (10-2) hosts West Springfield on Tuesday.
