GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – The Monument Mountain boys basketball team Tuesday celebrated its accomplishments from the 2024-25 campaign and earned its first win of the 2025-26 season.
Dylan Netzer came off the bench to knock down five 3-pointers and score a career-high 21 points in a 69-58 win over Lee.
“Dylan’s performance was huge for us tonight,” Monument Mountain coach Randy Koldys said.
The Spartans used the game against their South County rivals to recognize last year’s run to the Western Massachusetts Championship game and 2025 graduate Manny Brown’s entrance in the school’s 1,000-point club.
Finn Mason scored 15 points, and Finn Wheeler added 10 in the victory.
Joey Abderhalden made five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 29 points for Lee. Mason Lucey scored 14 after shooting 10-for-11 at the free throw line.
Lee (1-4) is at Monson on Monday.
