LEE, Mass. – Austin Meacham Friday scored 23 points to lead the Monson boys basketball team to a 66-53 win over Lee.

 

The Mustangs took control in the second quarter, when they outscored the Wildcats, 18-9, to take a 30-25 lead into the locker room.

 

Trey Dillahunt scored nine points for Monson in that second quarter on his way to a 17-point night.

 

Joey Abderhalden scored 16 points to lead the Wildcats. Shaun Kinney and Michael Lillie each scored 11, and Tyler Bartini added nine.

 

Lee (4-11) hosts Mount Everett on Wednesday.
