NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Justin Girard scored 15 points, and Kareen Beckett grabbed 10 rebounds, but Drury could not overcome a big third quarter by Monument Mountain on Friday night.

 

Monument came away with a 53-47 win to stop a two-game Drury winning streak.

 

The Spartans (4-3) outscored the Blue Devils (4-4) 14-6 in the third after Drury took a 25-22 lead into half-time.

 

Alex Heck scored 12, and Nick Trombley had nine for Drury.

 

The Devils travel to Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
