PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Da’Sean Brown scored 20 points Wednesday to lead the Pittsfield boys basketball team to a 70-59 win over East Longmeadow.

 

Brown hit three of his five 3-pointers and scored 11 points in the second quarter, when the Generals outscored the Spartans, 23-9, to take a 39-19 lead into half-time.

 

Keanu Arce-Jackson scored 17 points, and Makai Shepardson finished with 16 for Pittsfield, which got 12 points from Carter Mungin.

 

Pittsfield (15-3) learns Friday who its quarter-final opponent will be in next week’s Western Massachusetts regional tournament.
