NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Hayden Bird scored 22 points, grabbed five reobunds and blocked a shot on Monday to lead the Drury High boys basketball team to a 56-43 win over Frontier in the Blue Devils' season opener.

 

Connor Meehan scored 10 points, and Alex Heck scored eight with four rebounds for the Blue Devils, who scored 21 points in the third quarter to take a 37-23 lead into the locker room.

 

Drury hosts Lenox on Friday evening.
