NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Grace Towler scored 18 points Friday to lead the McCann Tech girls basketball team to a 49-40 win over Pioneer.

 

"We came out flat after playing a tough Greenfield [Thursday] night," McCann Tech coach Kathy Budaj said. "We definitely picked it up and went to the rim. We created a lot of opportunities had trouble finishing but the girls never quit."

 

Izzy LaCasse scored 13, and Kaylee Tatro added eight in the win.

 

McCann Tech (3-3) goes to Lee on Friday.
