.jpg) HOLDEN, Mass. -- Belle Lanpher scored 22 points Tuesday to lead the Wachusett Regional girls basketball team to a 54-49 win over Taconic in the title game of the Wachusett Tournament.
The Mountaineers finished their season undefeated at 20-0 and dropped Taconic to 17-2 heading into Wednesday’s regular season finale at Monument Mountain.
Tamia Patrick scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Taconic.
Ciany Conyers also scored 12. Ahliya Phillips and Taea Bramer scored 11 and 10, respectively, in the loss.
