Gamberoni Leads Wahconah Girls Past Amherst

DALTON, Mass. – Olivia Gamberoni scored 17 points Tuesday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 47-42 win over Amherst-Pelham.
 
Emma Belcher scored 13, and Eva Eberwein added 10 for Wahconah, which jumped out to a 16-8 lead in the first quarter, when Gamberoni scored 11 points.
 
Delaney MacPhetres led Amherst with 10 points.
 
Wahconah (10-2) hosts Hampshire on Monday.
