PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Minnechaug girls basketball team Wednesday rallied to force overtime and outscored Pittsfield, 11-7, in the extra session to take a 61-57 lead win.

 

The Generals (7-4) led by five points going into the fourth quarter but were outscored, 15-10, in the last eight minutes of regulation.

 

Lexi Garvey had a double-double with 11 points and 21 rebounds.

 

Emery Sime led four Generals in double figures with 12 points, and Natasha Shade and Alexi Sondrini added 11 and 10, respectively.

 

Jordyn Lummus had a strong night with 11 rebounds and seven assists.

 

Pittsfield goes to Monument Mountain on Friday, a game originally scheduled to be played at PHS.
